With over five years catering to Kings Park and twenty five years in the catering & hospitality sector, Sublimeblend, will ensure your event & catering is a sound success. Corporate hospitality and product communication is our core business. We have recently expanded our kitchen facility to focus on large corporate hospitality in the heart of Durban and surrounds. Sublime has a long history in the catering industry and recently has been joined by new team members. The dedicated team is comprised of Mervyn Davies, Candice Davies and Brendon Newport.
Within the Kings Park Stadium we have a number of regular clients who appreciate our weekly delivery. Our culinary team is headed up by Mervyn Davies and Brendon Newport, both well known chef personalities in hospitality circles, for delivery and creativity.
Mervyn Davies, directs this operation with culinary skill, born from years of experience. A board member with the South Africa Chefs Association, Mervyn has been at the cutting edge of the culinary world for many years. His most recent project has included transforming the beautiful estate of Makaranga Lodge into a modern dining establishment Mervyn is also an invited participant in this year’s SA Chef of the year 2012 to be held later this month.
Brendon Newport, food guru and chef is a Christina Martin Cooking School graduate, Brendon was recently featured on the BBC Food Channel cooking with Ainsley Harriet in Ready Steady Cook. He created culinary magic at the Bat Centre's Trans Africa Express, providing a new contemporary take on African food. He has cooked for various celebs including Elton John, The King of Zululand and Lenny Kravitz. Most recently providing restaurant consulting services to some of Durban’s latest restaurants.
The Corporate Event Hospitality and Concept Team is headed up by Guy Wood, who has years of experience in re-inventing the wheel.
